As a parent of a preemie (26 weeks, 815 grams) and two "typical" children, there is no doubt that there are a myriad of issues (beyond physical) to address with regard to the education of a preemie. Long-term studies will be beneficial to the increasing numbers of families facing these challenges. Although each child is unique, I suspect the study will identify some universal traits - and hopefully some methods which yield educational/life benefits.
